Class Description
There's nothing quite as refreshing as citrus-inspired desserts. In this class, you'll learn how to make three beloved sweets that highlight the tangy-sweet flavors of lemons and limes. Your guide is Executive Pastry Chef Catie Wiley, who joins us after a distinguished career as a pastry chef at several iconic patisseries and restaurants on the East Coast.

We'll start by preparing a classic lemon drizzle pound cake: a buttery, dense loaf cake infused with lemon zest and drizzled with a tart lemon glaze. Perfect for enjoying with a cup of tea or alongside fresh berries. Next, you'll master the art of creating a creamy, dreamy key lime pie from scratch. From making the graham cracker crust to whipping up a luscious key lime filling, this is a taste of the Florida Keys in every bite. Capping your class off, Chef Catie will demonstrate the techniques for making bright, zesty lemon bars - a fusion of a buttery shortbread crust and a tangy-sweet lemon curd topping. These make an excellent portable dessert or lunchbox treat.

By the end of the class, you'll take home enough lemon drizzle cake, key lime pie, and lemon bars to share the sunny flavors with family and friends. You'll also leave with recipes, baking tips, and plenty of inspiration for citrus-y desserts all year long. It's a zesty, refreshing way to satisfy your sweet tooth!

• We provide a full refund if you need to cancel more than three weeks prior to the start of a scheduled class. You will receive an Account Credit if you need to cancel at any time within three weeks but prior to the class start time. Please note that any refund issued for classes purchased using a Gift Certificate or Account Credit will result in reinstatement of the original Gift Card or Account Credit and will bear the same expiration date. Account Credits issued for cancelations within three weeks of a class will expire one year from the date of issuance. We reserve the right to cancel a class for any reason, at any time, in which case you will receive a full refund.
